Will the Third Temple be built next year?
According to a centuries-old rabbinical prophecy that appears to be coming true, on March 16, 2010, Israel will begin construction of the Third Temple
in Jerusalem.
During the 18th century, the Vilna Gaon, a respected rabbinical authority, prophesied that the Hurva Synagoge in Jerusalem, which was built during his
day, would be destroyed and rebuilt twice, and that when the Hurva was completed for the third time, construction on the Third Temple would begin.
The Hurva Synagogue was first destroyed shortly after its initial construction when Muslims demanding the return of loans tore it down. The synagogue
was rebuilt a hundred years later and became the most important Jewish house of worship in the Holy Land, only be blown to pieces by Jordanian troops
during Israel's 1948 War of Independence.
In 2001, Israel finally decided to rebuild the landmark, which today stands in the center of the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem's Old City. The building
is scheduled to be completed and the Hurva Synagogue dedicated for the third time on March 15 of next year.

I am so excited that He is really coming back to get us out of this painful; messy time we now live in. Thank God for His grace and mercy in our
lives! I love Him soooo much and look to the skies as I take breaks in my daily walk, holding His hand and trying to hear His voice, to better serve
Him as He would desire me to. Are there others out there who have this strong desire to see their Lord and Savior too? What can we do to speed up His
return? I find it interesting that Jesus said that only His Father knows when He is going to send Jesus back to get us. It's like a big, wonderful
secret surprise!

Welcome juleswest. You did not need to change your op.
I am looking forward to spending, well, timelessness is the word I guess, with Christ.
Time shall be no more and we will have eternity to be with our Savior Redeemer.
Temple Institute has spent 27 million dollars on preparations for the rebuilding of the Temple
For example, A stunning article that was published in the leading journal of religious law in Israel envisioned a scenario under which a "holy
revelation" is given to an "authentic prophet" who would authorize that the Temple be rebuilt in peaceful proximity to the Al-Aqsa mosque and
nearby Christian shrines. This article echoed Glick's sentiments by discussing the potential for turning the Temple Mount into "God's Holy
Mountain" - a "house of prayer" for all people (Isaiah 56:7).

Any news on the temple? Its past that March 16th date.
I have heard nothing to date, so I suspect this date was like many others. It was just the date of the 16th.
How goes it Russ?
Just keeping up on the news like I do everyday. I dont understand the fight about east jerusalem.
I that everyone knew God gave that to Isreal.
Everyone does know it Russ, but many choose to say it isn't true. They are blinded by the lies of Satan,
especially the Muslims, who have been taught to believe against the Word of God, choosing to believe
Mohammad instead.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 (King James Version)
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching
ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
With the Passover coming up on the 30th. of this month, I though I would do a
search to see what I could find, and this came up;

Israeli ad campaign calls for Third Temple
Hundreds of public buses traveling the streets of Jerusalem this Passover are bearing an advertisement calling for the immediate construction of the
Third Temple top the contested Temple Mount.
Paid for by Our Land of Israel (also known as SOS-Israel), the ad depicts a rebuilt Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in place of the two mosques that
now dominate the compound. Below the image are the words, "May the Temple be built swiftly in our days," taken from the daily Jewish prayer book.
SOS-Israel officials said they hope the campaign reminds many Israelis that rebuilding the temple has been the desire of the Jewish people for
millennia, and that it is time for Israel to move forward in fulfilling that desire irrespective of international sensitivities.
